Privacy Policy

Effective August 17, 2026 · applies to the FARMED iOS app and getfarmed.app

The short version: FARMED has no accounts, never stores your room photos, and analyzes rooms — never people. We collect the minimum needed to run the app, tied only to a random anonymous ID.

No account, no identity

FARMED does not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any login. When you first open the app, a random anonymous identifier is created for your installation. Everything below is linked only to that random ID — we have no way to connect it to who you are.

Room photos

When you scan a room, your photo is sent to our analysis service, processed in memory to produce the aura score, room read, and recommended move, and then discarded. Photos are not stored on our servers, not used to train models, and not shared with anyone. If you generate a visual example, the same applies to that request.

Photos with prominent faces are refused: FARMED analyzes rooms and situations, not people.

What we do collect

Scan results. The numeric score and a short context label from each scan (never the photo, never your location), linked to your anonymous ID.
Usage analytics. Anonymous app events (for example: scan started, scan completed, paywall viewed) via PostHog, so we can understand what to improve. No advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking.
Purchase state. If you subscribe to FARMED Pro, Apple processes the payment. We use RevenueCat to know whether your anonymous ID has an active subscription. We never see your payment details.

What we never do

No selling or renting of data — to anyone, ever.
No advertising networks or ad tracking in the app.
No tracking you across other companies’ apps or websites.
No collection of contacts, precise location, or photo libraries beyond the photo you actively choose to scan.

Service providers

FARMED runs on a small set of processors, each receiving only what is needed to do its job: Apple (payments, app distribution), Supabase (anonymous authentication, scan results, and in-memory photo analysis), PostHog (anonymous usage analytics), and RevenueCat & Superwall (subscription state and the paywall screen). None of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Retention and deletion

Scan results and analytics are kept only as long as needed to operate the app. Because there is no account, deleting the app removes the link between your device and your anonymous ID. To have your anonymous data deleted from our servers, email us at team@getfarmed.app and we will remove everything tied to your anonymous ID.

Age

FARMED is rated 16+ and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If our data practices change, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
